Day's Jewelers joins the Flagg Brothers Golf Classic in support of the Donovan Kurt Memorial Foundation

Some partnerships start with a product. This one started with a purpose.
Last week, Day's Jewelers joined the Flagg Brothers Golf Classic, a tournament built around community, competition, and a cause that reaches far beyond the course. The event benefits the Donovan Kurt Memorial Foundation, and for Day's, being there wasn't a sponsorship decision. It was a chance to stand behind something the team believes in.
Day's fielded a foursome for the day: President Joe Corey, Creative Director Brian Chick, Topsham Store and Territory Manager LT Sierra, and Topsham sales associate Stephanie Roderique. The team also ran a bracelet booth on-site, giving guests a first look at a new piece made specifically for this partnership.
The Gratitude Bracelet
The centerpiece of the day was the debut of the limited-edition Gratitude Bracelet, designed by Dee Berkley. Each bracelet is set with labradorite in gray, a color chosen deliberately to represent brain cancer awareness.
It's a quiet piece with a clear intention. Every bracelet sold puts profits directly toward the Donovan Kurt Memorial Foundation, turning something worn every day into an ongoing act of support.
The Gratitude Bracelet was made in limited quantity for this year's tournament, and only a handful remain. Once they're gone, this run won't be repeated, making each remaining piece a genuine keepsake from the inaugural Flagg Brothers Golf Classic.
The Donovan Kurt Memorial Foundation
Donovan Kurt was a friend to the Flagg brothers, and the tournament carries his name for a reason. The Foundation was established in his memory, with a mission centered on brain cancer awareness and support for families facing a similar diagnosis.
That support is practical as much as it is emotional. The Foundation helps cover the costs that pile up during treatment and hospital stays, things like meals and hotel rooms, so families can stay focused on each other instead of logistics.
Donovan's mother, Trisha, opened the tournament with a few words before the first tee shot, a reminder of exactly who the day was for. Funds raised through the Gratitude Bracelet, along with the Golf Classic itself, go directly toward that work.
Ace's Ace: A Hole-in-One
One of the day's most anticipated moment came at hole 11, home to the Ace's Ace activation. The first golfer to record a hole-in-one at the hole would win a certified pre-owned Rolex, provided by Day's Jewelers. It's the kind of detail that turned a charity tournament into a day people won't forget, whether or not they walked away with the watch.
Nobody sank the shot this year. The closest came from Ralph Flagg, father to the Flagg brothers, whose tee shot at hole 11 left the Rolex waiting for another year.
