For Heirloom, we partnered with Near & Native, a Maine fragrance company founded by Hannah. Its small-batch approach and focus on refillable candles offered a natural connection to our vision for a fragrance, and an object, with a lasting place in your home.
Day’s brought the feeling we wanted to create: the warmth of a personal welcome, the care surrounding a meaningful purchase, and the connection between jewelry and memory. Near & Native brought its experience in fragrance and custom candle design.
The collaboration resulted in an exclusive Day’s scent, paired with a custom vessel and packaging that make it a thoughtful gift from the moment it is opened.

Candle care
- Trim the wick to ¼″ before each burn.
- Let the wax melt evenly across the surface after lighting.
- Wipe the inside of the vessel to keep it clean and clear of soot.

Ordering and pickup
Can I order the candle on its own?
Yes. Purchase the candle on its own, add it to a jewelry order, or select store pickup where available.
Will my candle and jewelry arrive together?
If your order includes a candle and jewelry, your items may arrive in separate shipments. Your candle ships from our fulfillment center, while your jewelry may ship from another Day’s Jewelers location. Tracking is provided for each package.
Can i pick it up in store?
Yes, where the candle is available. Choose store pickup at checkout, and we’ll let you know when everything in your order is ready.
How does the refill service work?
Once you’ve enjoyed your candle, Near & Native’s Candle Refill Service can fill the vessel with a new scent. Available fragrances and current instructions are on the Near & Native website.
Can I return the candle?
The candle is not eligible for return.
