The on-site appraiser in the Day’s South Portland location, Cheryl Castner, has added another educational achievement to her extensive list of credentials. Cheryl has completed the AGS Way Course with the American Gem Society, making her a Titleholder and a Registered Jeweler with the American Gem Society. Day’s customers can rest easy knowing that their jewelry is being appraised by one of the best appraisers in the state of Maine.  Cheryl started her career at Day’s Jewelers in 2005 in the service department, as the South Portland store did not have an opening for an appraiser at the time. Cheryl built up her clientele in appraisals while working in the service department, eventually transitioning to her current role as an on-site appraiser.
