On September 24, 2022, Day’s Jewelers will participate in Jewelers for Children’s annual fundraising day. This event celebrates the success of the jewelry industry’s ongoing support for children in need and raises awareness and funds for the many charities that Jewelers for Children supports. 2022 marks the fifth year that Day’s Jewelers has participated in this fundraiser, raising over $15,000 for the organization in that time span. A new gemstone is making its debut in Day’s Jewelers inventory! Gorgeously opaque and blue-green, Grandidierite is the newest addition to our ever-growing colored gemstone collection for you to choose from. Originally discovered in 1902 in Madagascar, the gemstone is named after French naturalist and explorer, Alfred Grandidier, who described the natural history and geography of Madagascar as part of his extensive career.
